Established in 1979 and located in Chongqing, Chongqing Qianjin Chemical Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Chongqing Qianjin Chemical Plant) is a medium-sized fertilizer manufacturing enterprise that primarily engages in the production and sale of chemical raw materials and chemical products. The company was originally a state-owned enterprise and was privatized in May 2007. With a registered capital of 13.07 million RMB and paid-in capital of 13.07 million RMB, its main products include 120,000 tons of industrial sulfuric acid per year, 70,000 tons of monoammonium phosphate (MAP) per year, and 1,000 tons of chemical reagents per year. The company has an annual industrial output value of 200 million RMB, and its "Qianjin" brand monoammonium phosphate has won awards. Adhering to the service principle of "quality first, customer foremost", the company also manufactures and sells sulfuric acid, ammonium sulfite, magnesium fluorosilicate, fuming sulfuric acid, fertilizers (monoammonium phosphate, ordinary superphosphate), and engages in the wholesale and retail of red slag, magnetite powder, general merchandise, hardware, electrical products, and building materials (excluding hazardous chemicals).

Ammonium sulfite, one of the products, has a wide range of applications, such as in the papermaking industry as a cooking agent for pulp, in metal cold working as a lubricant, in environmental protection as an absorbent to remove hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) from gas, in the photography and dyeing industry as a reducing agent or intermediate, in the food industry as a preservative, flavoring agent, bleaching agent, and antioxidant, in the pharmaceutical industry for the production of various drugs, in agriculture as a fertilizer and soil conditioner, and in water treatment for removing heavy metal ions and harmful substances from wastewater.

Magnesium fluorosilicate is mainly used as a concrete strengthener and waterproofing agent, in the surface treatment of silica stone for fluorination treatment, in ceramic manufacturing as a raw material, as a textile mothproofing agent and insecticide, and also as a rubber latex coagulant, preservative, and textile mothproofing agent.

Fuming sulfuric acid (chemical formula H₂SO₄·xSO₃) is an important chemical raw material, mainly used as a sulfonating agent in organic synthesis, as a dehydrating agent in nitration reactions, in petroleum refining and chemical production, and for the preparation of pyrosulfuric acid (H₂S₂O₇) and other derivatives. However, it is highly corrosive and toxic, so strict protection is required during operation.
